Concluding the Second Agreement of Cooperation with Scientific Centers at Imam Khomeini Port
The agreement of Scientific and Research Cooperation between the Khuzestan Province Administration of Ports and Maritime and Amir Kabir University (Mahshahr branch) was signed with the aim of expanding the field of scientific, research and educational cooperation

According to Public Relation report, Plan and Development Deputy of Khuzestan Province Administration of Ports and Maritime whilst announcing the news said: During the visit of representatives of the Amir Kabir University (Mahshahr branch) with the Director General Khuzestan Province Administration of Ports and Maritime and the Manager of Special Economic Zone of Imam Khomeini port a scientific and research document cooperation was signed in order to take advantage of the scientific, technical, economic and specialized facilities of this maritime authority in Khuzestan Province to develop port and sea training.

Askari stated referring to the continuation and expansion of the cooperation of this Administration with the scientific centers of Khuzestan province: According to the agreement, cooperation will be mainly based on education, research and entrepreneurship and the parties undertake to use, as needed, the capabilities and facilities and abilities of each other to promote, develop and advance scientific and practical activities in the maritime and port sectors.

He also enumerated holding seminars, conferences, exhibitions and specialized scientific workshops, and utilizing the capacities of both sides to conduct joint educational and research activities as the points mentioned in this agreement.

Plan and Development Deputy expressed hope that the development of port relations and educational and research centers would enhance the scientific development of maritime and port activities. In this regard, the concluding agreement with scientific and research centers located in Khuzestan province is the first step and based on the suggestion of the representatives of the university, a joint committee will be established to examine the continuation and deepening of this cooperation.

It is noted that Khuzestan Province Administration of Ports and Maritime as the representative of the Ports and Maritime Organization in Khuzestan province and the only reference authority in the maritime and port field has concluded the second agreement of cooperation with the scientific centers of the province with the aim of promoting knowledge and culture and development of maritime and port activities.
